The Idea Indicator™

What is The Idea Indicator?

The Idea Indicator is a simple tool created by The Innovation Company to help individuals learn their ‘idea style.’ By answering just four simple questions a person will quickly be able to have a snapshot of how he or she participates in various situations where innovation and creativity are needed.

There are no right or wrong answers nor are there good or bad innovation styles! The goal is for team members understand their style and the styles of others. By having this basic understanding individuals will have a better appreciation of the way different people participate in the creative process.

The Innovation Company incorporates this tool into workshops and other activities to begin discussions that raise awareness among team members on the various styles present on their team. The ideal outcome will be an appreciation of each person’s strengths and an awareness of his or her areas of concern.

Again, there are no right or wrong answers. This is a tool to stimulate discussion and raise awareness of the value each person brings to the team.
